Do I need internet to use EasyPOS?
No. EasyPOS is offline-first. You keep scanning and selling when the network drops, and your sales sync automatically the moment you are back online.
How do M-Pesa payments work?
EasyPOS talks directly to M-Pesa through the Daraja API using STK push. You enter the amount, the customer approves on their phone, and the till settles instantly. Card payments work through connected Stripe or Adyen terminal hardware.
What devices and hardware do I need?
Any modern web browser, or the Android, Windows, Linux, or macOS app. A phone, tablet, or second-hand computer running Linux makes a perfectly good till. Barcode scanners, cash drawers, and receipt printers plug in when you want them.
Can I run more than one branch?
Yes. The multi-branch plan covers any number of branches, lets you transfer stock between them, assigns separate staff roles, and rolls everything into group reports in one dashboard.
Is my data safe?
Every business is isolated from every other (multi-tenant), access follows staff roles, and payments run on M-Pesa, Stripe, and Adyen infrastructure. Every shift and receipt reconciles against a full log of who did what.
